Homeward Bound Animal Rescue, Inc.

Homeward Bound Animal Rescue, Inc. is an all volunteer non-profit no-kill organization dedicated to rescuing companion animals and placing them into foster homes until they can be permanently adopted. Most of the animals rescued come from pounds and shelters in the midcities and Ft Worth area and some are found as strays. All are faced with certain death if not rescued.

When an animal is rescued, it is examined by a veterinarian, tested for common diseases such as heartworms in dogs and leukemia and FIP in cats. They are vaccinated against communicable diseases, wormed, treated for any illness or medical problems and spayed or neutered prior to being placed for adoption.
