Animals that Need Special Help

From time to time, we at Homeward Bound get animals that need special care and attention.  These animals usually need medical attention that can cost a significant amount.  Donations to help unfortunate pets in need of medical care are always welcome--and any amount, large or small, will be appreciated!  Donations may be sent to the following address:

Thank you for caring!

"Amp" was named Angus when he had four legs.  Then he got parvo virus.  His owner took him to the emergency clinic for treatment.  They wrapped Amp's legs so tightly that the circulation was cut off, and after four days he got gangrene.  His owner could not afford the bill, and the folks in the emergency clinic thought that they had no choice but to euthanize Amp.  He is very fortunate that Homeward Bound took him in. Now Amp is feeling better, but to save his life his leg had to be amputated. That's why he's now called "Amp."  Unfortunately, poor Amp still needs help with his ongoing veterinary expenses.

Ashley was abandoned three days before delivering nine puppies.  The puppies were weaned too long and Ashley needed surgery.  She's had half of the surgery done.  The other surgery will cost $150.  Any help you could give her would be greatly appreciated.
